At the next Women in Leadership (WIL) event, Professor and Director of Brock\u2019s Indigenous Educational Studies programs Sheila Cote-Meek will reflect on her experiences and the challenges she has faced as an Anishnaabe-kwe (Indigenous woman) navigating the academic world.<\/p>\n
A member of the Teme-Augama Anishnabai, Cote-Meek is a renowned champion of Indigeneity, decolonization, equity and inclusion in higher education and health. She has more than 30 years\u2019 experience working in post-secondary education as an academic and administrator.<\/p>\n
Cote-Meek\u2019s presentation, \u201cIntergenerational Indigenous Resilience and Navigating Academic Administration,\u201d takes place on Thursday, April 11 from noon to 1 p.m. All are invited to attend on Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n
