{"id":91798,"date":"2024-03-26T11:14:59","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T15:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=91798"},"modified":"2024-03-26T18:10:11","modified_gmt":"2024-03-26T22:10:11","slug":"feedback-sought-on-proposed-discontinuation-of-bed-programs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2024\/03\/feedback-sought-on-proposed-discontinuation-of-bed-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"Feedback sought on proposed discontinuation of BEd programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Educational Studies and Continuing Teacher Education (CTE) Program have\u00a0submitted a Request for Program Discontinuation indicating they are seeking approval under the <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/vp-academic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/IQAP-QC-Re-ratifiedJune-2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institutional Quality Assurance Processes<\/a> (IQAP) to discontinue the Bachelor of Education (BEd) Route II and BEd Specialist programs.<\/p>\n<p>The request is being made available for the information of Brock University community to allow the opportunity for comment prior to the next step in the IQAP.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/vp-academic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/65\/BEd-Route-II_Specialist-Program-Discontinuation-Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">request<\/a>\u00a0can be viewed on the\u00a0Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic website.
