{"id":91056,"date":"2024-02-22T12:26:42","date_gmt":"2024-02-22T17:26:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=91056"},"modified":"2024-02-22T17:06:45","modified_gmt":"2024-02-22T22:06:45","slug":"tax-documents-available-for-brock-students-employees-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2024\/02\/tax-documents-available-for-brock-students-employees-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Tax documents available for Brock students, employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Documents related to the 2024 tax season are now available for Brock University students, staff, faculty and librarians.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Student tax forms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tax forms available for students include the T2202 form (Tuition and Enrolment Certificate) and the T4A form (Scholarship, Bursary, Fellowship, Award or Prize Income Tax Slip).<\/p>\n<p>Forms will not be mailed to students.\u00a0Brock students can download and print their completed 2023 T2202 form and T4A form directly from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/my.brocku.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my.brocku.ca student self-serve portal<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To access the T2202 form, log in to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/my.brocku.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my.brocku.ca<\/a> and go to the Student Self-Serve tab. Click on \u2018Tax Certificates\u2019 to view or download the form as a PDF.<\/li>\n<li>Students who have received funds from a scholarship, award, bursary, prize or fellowship will receive a T4A income slip. To access it, log in to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/my.brocku.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my.brocku.ca<\/a>\u00a0and go to the Student Self-Serve tab. Click on \u2018Tax \u2014 T4A,\u2019 select the year and click on \u2018GO\u2019 to view or download the tax slip as a PDF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For questions regarding student tax forms,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/registrar\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contact Brock Central @ the Registrar\u2019s Office<\/a>. A team of Student Information and Service Advisors is able to assist via Live Chat. In-person and telephone support are also available. Students will need their student ID number for verification.<\/p>\n<p>Additional details regarding student tax forms can be found on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/safa\/tuition-and-fees\/tax-certificates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Student Awards and Financial Aid website.<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Employee tax form<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employees who earned an income from Brock University in 2023, including employees who are also students at the University, can download their T4 slip (Statement of Remuneration Paid) from Workday. Employees with earnings from different pay groups may have more than one 2023 T4 slip.<\/p>\n<p>To access T4 slips,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wd3.myworkday.com\/brocku\">sign in to Workday<\/a>\u00a0with an employee username and password and follow the instructions in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.sharepoint.com\/Workday\/Final%20Job%20Aids\/Direct%20Access\/AccessingT4Slips_QuickCard.pdf?csf=1&amp;e=u9o4zD&amp;cid=47de9189-2bb7-4c02-bfe8-7327b45b99d8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">T4 slip job aid<\/a>.
