Brock student entrepreneurs have a chance to see their products on the shelves of the Campus Store thanks to a contest delivered by Brock LINC and the Campus Store.<\/p>\n
The contest\u2019s winner will be provided with mentorship and dedicated Campus Store retail space from September 2024 to April 2025 at no cost. The winner will also have their product on the store website<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be able to promote our student entrepreneurs in our store as our way of supporting the student experience,\u201d says Campus Store Manager Stephanie Nobles.<\/p>\n The deadline for this year\u2019s contest to showcase a student\u2019s products in the Campus Store is Thursday, Feb. 15.<\/p>\n \u201cWe encourage students who have retail-based businesses to apply to this contest for a chance to expand their business while developing entrepreneurial skills,\u201d says Brock LINC Program Manager Cassie Conte.<\/p>\n The contest has had a significant impact on\u00a0Trinity Samarita, last year\u2019s winner.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIt impacted my sales in a great way as I didn’t know I was able to sell that much,\u201d says Samarita, a third-year Concurrent Teacher Education student. \u201cSo many people told me how much they loved the designs.\u201d<\/p>\n Samarita displayed some items from her clothing business Oopsie Daisy Apparel<\/a> in the Campus Store and on the store\u2019s website to display for almost a year.<\/p>\n Those interested in entering the contest can apply on the Brock LINC website<\/a>.
