Brock users have until mid-February to migrate video and transcriptions files saved in the legacy Stream (Classic) platform.<\/p>\n
The platform was replaced with Stream (on SharePoint) in August 2021 and\u00a0will be retired by Microsoft<\/a> on Feb. 15. Users will no longer be able to access Stream (Classic) files following next month’s retirement date.<\/p>\n Brock\u2019s Information Technology Services (ITS) team has provided detailed instructions on\u00a0manually downloading Stream (Classic) videos<\/a>\u00a0along with FAQs about the change<\/a>. Anyone needing additional assistance is encouraged to submit an ITS service request<\/a>.<\/p>\n Users who are interested in moving their Stream (Classic) videos to YuJa can\u00a0consult YuJa documentation on how to\u00a0upload a video<\/a> or contact the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n Faculty and staff are encouraged to review the\u00a0Records Policy and records classification and retention schedule<\/a> to ensure they preserve any University records saved on Stream (Classic).
