Brock University is seeking feedback from employees about its current phrase-matching software and student course experience platform.<\/p>\n
Faculty, instructors, staff and librarians are invited to complete surveys about their use of Turnitin and Blue ahead of the University\u2019s agreements with these providers expiring next summer.<\/p>\n
Instructors and faculty members will be able to share their needs and opinions of Brock\u2019s phrase-matching software, which the University began using two decades ago, through the Turnitin academic user survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n Employees engaged in administering online course evaluations can provide feedback on Brock\u2019s student course experience survey system through the Blue academic user survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n Survey responses will inform requirements and next steps for the replacement or renewal of these important academic technologies.<\/p>\n While the Senate Information Technology and Infrastructure Committee will receive a report on the community consultation process as of Thursday, Dec. 7, the surveys will remain open through January.<\/p>\n
