From high school students planning their next steps to transfer students and mature learners getting a feel for what is possible, Brock welcomed visitors of all ages to campus Sunday, Nov. 5 to discover the wealth of opportunities available at the University.<\/p>\n
Fall Preview Day saw more than 3,700 prospective students and their families explore Brock\u2019s main campus and the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts in downtown St. Catharines, taking in program presentations, touring facilities and meeting the hundreds of staff, faculty and current students on hand to answer questions.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were lucky to have a perfect fall day, with countless guests commenting on the beauty of Brock\u2019s campus,\u201d says Kara Kelly, Manager, Recruitment Operations and Communications. \u201cNothing compares to being on campus in person, taking in the scenery and experiencing first-hand the welcoming atmosphere that Brock University is known for.\u201d<\/p>\n
In addition to participating in Faculty- and program-specific presentations and touring residences, labs and other facilities, visitors learned about Brock\u2019s many supports, services, academic programs and extracurricular activities at an 80-booth information fair.<\/p>\n
Many prospective students attended with their alumni parents and were greeted by the University\u2019s Alumni Relations team, who welcomed the returning Badgers back to their old stomping grounds.<\/p>\n
