Brock is strengthening its commitment to engagement with alumni, the community, government and other supporters and partners with the appointment of experienced university leader Meaghan Rusnell to the position of Interim Vice-President, External.<\/p>\n
Rusnell will provide executive leadership to the Government, Community and International Relations team as well as the Advancement and Donor Relations team. Marketing and Communications will continue reporting to the President.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe aligning of these important portfolios will allow the University to better co-ordinate and enhance its advancement activities, government advocacy and community and international relations strategies,\u201d says Lesley Rigg, President and Vice-Chancellor. \u201cAs a long-time champion of Brock in the community and a respected campus leader, Meaghan is the ideal individual to provide leadership for this critical part of the University\u2019s operations.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rusnell has been at Brock since 2008 and has held progressive leadership roles in government and community relations. She is currently Associate Vice-President, Government, Community and International Relations.<\/p>\n
