Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts<\/a>&#8216; annual festival of the arts.<\/p>\n<p>Drama, music and visual arts take centre stage with the festival, which started March 11 and goes until May 1.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first of what will be an annual event, said Marie Balsom, communications officer for the Walker School.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are providing an opportunity for people to experience the dynamic vision and creative energy embodied by those involved with the school of fine and performing arts,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a sample of the upcoming events:<\/p>\n<p><strong>One Acts Festival<\/strong> (DART3P54)<br \/>\nMarch 18 and 19, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.<br \/>\nUpper year directing students present a series of short plays with student actors.<br \/>\nST103 and ST107<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flooding Violet<\/strong> (DART 4F56)<br \/>\nApril 15 at 8 p.m. and April 16 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.<br \/>\nSenior students present an original, devised play: a noire meditation set in 1938.<br \/>\nST103<br \/>\nCost: $5 with proceeds donated to the Marlene Moser Scholarship Fund<\/p>\n<p><strong>That Woman: A Sex Play?<\/strong> (faculty)<br \/>\nApril 13  to 16 at 8 p.m.<br \/>\nWritten and directed by David Fancy, designed by David Vivian, video design by Donna Szoke, performed by Monica Dufault.<br \/>\nSullivan Mahoney Courthouse Theatre, 101 King St., St.Catharines<br \/>\nTickets: adults $12; seniors\/students $7.
