In alignment with Brock\u2019s strategic priority of fostering a culture of inclusivity, accessibility, reconciliation and decolonization, the University has organized open focus groups as well as identity-specific focus groups that faculty and staff can self-select to participate in.<\/p>\n<p>The following focus groups are planned for faculty\/professional librarians and staff:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open to all staff \u2014 Aug. 29, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Open to all faculty \u2014 Aug. 21, 2 to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Persons with disabilities (staff) \u2014 Aug. 22, 10 to 11 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Persons with disabilities (faculty) \u2014 Aug. 22, noon to 1 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Members of First Nations, M\u00e9tis and Inuit communities (staff) \u2014 To be rescheduled<\/li>\n<li>Members of First Nations, M\u00e9tis and Inuit communities (faculty) \u2014 Aug. 24, 2 to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Members of Black communities (staff) \u2014 Sept. 15, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Members of Black communities (faculty) \u2014 Sept. 15, 2 to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>People from racialized communities (faculty) \u2014 Sept. 18, 11 a.m. to noon<\/li>\n<li>People from racialized communities (staff) \u2014 Aug. 31, 11 a.m. to noon<\/li>\n<li>Women (faculty) \u2014 Sept. 19, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Women (staff) \u2014 Aug. 30, 10 to 11 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Members of 2SLGBTQ+ communities (staff) \u2014 Sept. 20, 10 to 11 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Members of 2SLGBTQ+ communities (faculty) \u2014 Sept. 20, 2 to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To sign up for one or multiple focus groups, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/human-resources\/equity-census\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Equity Census web page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will be contacted directly with meeting details by consultants MNP, and interview guides will be sent in advance of the focus group sessions.
