Brock\u2019s Indigenous Peoples Awareness Week (IPAW) wrapped up Friday, June 23 after five days of workshops, conversations and celebrations.<\/p>\n
Organized by the University\u2019s Hadiya\u02c0dag\u00e9nhahs First Nations, M\u00e9tis and Inuit Student Centre<\/a>, IPAW welcomed people from across Niagara and beyond to take part in 20 different learning opportunities.<\/p>\n Among the week\u2019s events were a vendor fair that welcomed Indigenous artisans, a talk on the seven cycles of life from Elder Aabiidaasmosede Peter Beaucage and a sealskin presentation from Vanessa Brousseau, an Inuk social media influencer and artist.<\/p>\n Hadiya\u02c0dag\u00e9nhahs Director Cindy Biancaniello said the week was a chance for everyone who participated to connect and learn together.<\/p>\n \u201cThis week has been amazing.
