Vanessa Dupuis has been named Executive Director, Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the President.<\/p>\n
Dupuis has been at Brock since 2021 and is currently the Executive Director of Strategic Operations in the Office of the Vice-President, Administration.<\/p>\n
An experienced leader, she comes to the role with a strong background managing cross-functional special projects, strategic plans and other complex issues.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining Brock, Dupuis served as Senior Manager, Government Relations with Loblaw Companies Limited, and held a number of progressively senior roles with the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario, including three years as Strategic and Operations Advisor to the Auditor General.<\/p>\n

The Executive Director, Strategic Initiatives position was created to provide strategic oversight, leadership and direction in the Office of the President and supports its efforts to continue to advance the University\u2019s priorities.<\/p>\n
Dupuis holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Guelph\/McMaster University collaborative, and a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n
Daniel Grubb, previously seconded from Government, Community and International Relations, who had been serving as Interim Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives, has been appointed Director of Government Relations.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to thank Daniel for his excellent work during his time in this interim role \u2014 his leadership and guidance were invaluable during my first months as President,\u201d says Rigg. \u201cI look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role leading the Government Relations team.\u201d<\/p>\n
