An annual fundraiser in support of local cancer-care organizations is coming to Brock University.<\/p>\n
Taking place remotely at various locations across Niagara, the 16th-annual Rankin Cancer Run will set up shop at Brock from noon to 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31.<\/p>\n
The on-campus event is hosted by Brock\u2019s Office of People and Culture in partnership with Student Life and Success, and invites members of the Brock community to take part in a one- or five-kilometre walk, run or roll.<\/p>\n
Interested participants can join Brock’s team by searching \u2018Brock University\u2019\u00a0in the Team Search Bar on the Rankin Cancer Run website<\/a>. Once completed, participants will receive a confirmation email, and those who sign up by Friday, May 19 will receive a T-shirt.<\/p>\n There is also a need for volunteers to help with registration and as route marshals.<\/p>\n Volunteers will meet between the Cairns and Plaza buildings at 11:30 a.m. The run will begin from the same location at noon.<\/p>\n All registrants will check into the event using the University\u2019s event pass<\/a> site or their Brock email address.<\/p>\n
