As exams and final projects creep closer, an upcoming event aims to give students a jump on their end-of-term tasks.<\/p>\n
The seventh-annual Night Against Procrastination (NAP), organized by Brock\u2019s Learning Services team with partners from across campus, takes place Thursday, March 9 from 6 p.m. to midnight.<\/p>\n
Participants are asked to bring their assignments and a laptop to Market Hall, where they will be invited to take advantage of the various supports, workstations, tutors and writing experts available to them.<\/p>\n
There will also be a variety of short relaxation sessions, including meditation, yoga and painting,\u00a0as well as free pizza available to students when they are ready to take a break.<\/p>\n
Laura Lane, Brock\u2019s Manager of Learning Services, said NAP is a great way for students to familiarize themselves with resources to help them stay on track during a busy time.<\/p>\n
At Learning Services, we always strive to help students have a great academic experience \u2014 and Night Against Procrastination is no exception,\u201d she said. \u201cOur team is ready to welcome and support hundreds of Brock students for NAP as they enter the home stretch of the academic year.\u201d<\/p>\n
