Registration for Brock University\u2019s popular summer camps is now open.<\/p>\n
Children can pursue their interests in technology, sports, the arts, science and aquatics during Brock Recreation\u2019s camps, which run for nine weeks in the summer from July 4 to Sept. 1.<\/p>\n
New camp themes include fitness, dance, spy science, engineering and circuitry, rugby and more.<\/p>\n
Camp Program Manager Wesley Spatazzo said camps at Brock provide a unique campus experience for children and youth while exploring post-secondary possibilities.<\/p>\n
\u201cBrock camps are a chance for children to pursue their interests and develop friendships with peers,\u201d he said. \u201cChildren connect with our student staff and develop a sense of community while participating in camps such as volleyball, robotics or leadership camp.\u201d<\/p>\n
Camps run from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
Brock\u2019s\u00a0summer camps offer a variety of options for children who have completed Grades 1 to 8, with\u00a0additional\u00a0options also available for youth in secondary school.<\/p>\n
There is a complimentary drop off and pick up period from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 4:30 p.m., as well as the opportunity to purchase extended care beginning at 7:30 a.m. and finishing at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
