Documents related to the 2022 tax season are now available for Brock University students, staff, faculty and librarians.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tax forms available for students include the T2202 form (Tuition and Enrolment Certificate) and the T4A form (Scholarship, Bursary, Fellowship, Award or Prize Income Tax Slip).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The T4 slip (Statement of Remuneration Paid) is available for employees.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Student tax forms<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Brock students can download and print their completed 2022 T2202 form and T4A form directly from the <\/span>my.brocku.ca student self-serve portal<\/span><\/a>. Forms will not be mailed to students.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To access the T2202 form, log in to <\/span>my.brocku.ca<\/span><\/a> and go to the Student Self-Serve tab. Click on \u2018Tax Certificates\u2019 to view or download the form as a PDF.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Students who have received funds from a scholarship, award, bursary, prize or fellowship will receive a T4A income slip. To access it, log in to <\/span>my.brocku.ca<\/span><\/a> and go to the Student Self-Serve tab. Click on \u2018Tax \u2014 T4A,\u2019 select the year and click on \u2018Go\u2019 to view or download the tax slip as a PDF.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For questions regarding student tax forms, <\/span>contact Brock Central @ the Registrar\u2019s Office<\/span><\/a>. A team of Student Information and Service Advisors is able to assist via live chat. In-person and telephone support are also available. Students will need their student ID number for verification.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The University does not issue tax receipts for residence fees. Residences are on tax-exempt land; therefore, students are not charged taxes on residence fees. Learn more on the <\/span>Residences at Brock website<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Employee tax form<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Employees who earned an income from Brock University in 2022, including employees who are also students at the University, can download their T4 slip (Statement of Remuneration Paid) from Workday. Employees with earnings from different pay groups may have more than one 2022 T4 slip.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Brock employees who are also students at the University will need to sign in to their employee account to access Workday, not their student account.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To access T4 slips, <\/span>sign in to Workday<\/span><\/a> with an employee username and password and follow the instructions in the <\/span>T4 slip job aid<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is important employees save a copy of their T4 to their personal computer for future reference.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Employees with an active appointment in Workday who require assistance logging in to their Workday account are asked to refer to the <\/span>ITS website<\/span><\/a> or <\/span>contact the ITS Help Desk.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Employees without an active appointment in Workday who had income earnings in 2022 will have their T4 slip mailed to their home address on record.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
