{"id":83699,"date":"2023-02-16T13:57:26","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T18:57:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=83699"},"modified":"2023-02-16T17:00:18","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T22:00:18","slug":"vote-for-gradflix-peoples-choice-award-until-feb-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2023\/02\/vote-for-gradflix-peoples-choice-award-until-feb-22\/","title":{"rendered":"Vote for GRADflix People\u2019s Choice Award until Feb. 22"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Graduate students are competing for the community\u2019s vote with their creative 60-second videos in the Faculty of Graduate Studies\u2019 2023 <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/graduate-studies\/gradflix-videos-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GRADflix competition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Voting is open to community members until Wednesday, Feb. 22 for the People\u2019s Choice Award portion of the competition, which saw students share their research in the short videos.<\/p>\n<p>Nine students submitted entries in a bid to win one of four cash prizes. First-, second- and third-place winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, while the People\u2019s Choice Award will be presented to the student researcher whose video received the most votes online.<\/p>\n<p>The public can view all videos and vote for the People\u2019s Choice Award through the <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/graduate-studies\/gradflix-videos-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GRADflix web page<\/a>.
