This year\u2019s recipients received a certificate and pin at the annual breakfast event.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_82891\" style=\"width: 451px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82891\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-82891\" src=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Main02-1050x700.jpg\" alt=\"A large group of people pose for a photo taken from above.\" width=\"441\" height=\"294\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-82891\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">More than 100 Brock student-athletes, faculty and staff gathered at Pond Inlet for the annual Celebration of Academic Excellence Breakfast on Wednesday, Jan. 11.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As student-athletes achieve honour roll status in subsequent years, they will receive an additional, different pin each year, marking their academic success across their Brock journey.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today marked a special day in that we are excited to reintroduce our academic excellence celebration,&#8221; said Brock Sports and Recreation Executive Director Melissa Krist. &#8220;We are so proud of all our student-athletes that have found success academically while representing their school on the playing field.
