With the Winter Term underway, international students arriving at Brock received a warm welcome during a chilly time of year.<\/p>\n
More than 250 international students are planning to begin their studies at the University this term, and Brock International is working to ensure their experience gets off on the right foot. A series of orientation events, meant to support students’ transition to Canada and to Brock, have been held throughout the past week, continuing until Friday, Jan. 13.<\/p>\n
The kickoff virtual event on Wednesday, Jan. 4 focused on topics essential to supporting international students, including immigration, health and well-being, living in Niagara, getting involved and academic success.<\/p>\n
Additional support was also added this year when Brock International participated as a pilot partner with the iCent Airport Welcome program<\/a>.
