Janet Westbury (BPhEd \u201993, MEd \u201900) believes the right mix of \u2018FUELS\u2019 (failure, uncomfortable situations, emotional engagement, listening and ‘secret sauce’) can ignite anyone\u2019s leadership journey.<\/p>\n
At the next Women in Leadership event, the Brock alumna and Undergraduate Experiential Education Co-ordinator in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences will share her experiences and discuss the necessary ingredients to embark on \u2014 or energize \u2014 your personal journey to leadership.<\/p>\n
Westbury is no stranger to stepping up when needed. Her recent forays into leadership have included taking part in the Governor General\u2019s Canadian Leadership Conference<\/a>, speaking on a panel at the Niagara Leadership Summit for Women<\/a> and volunteering internationally with Academics Without Borders<\/a>.<\/p>\n Westbury\u2019s session will take place Tuesday, Nov. 29 from noon to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. All who are interested are invited to attend.
