Tickets still remain for Brock University\u2019s 22nd Steel Blade Classic hockey game<\/a>, which is expected to draw thousands of people to the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines Friday night.<\/p>\n

Until the 7 p.m. puck drop, tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.ca<\/a><\/p>\n

Limited tickets will also be sold at the Meridian Centre box office beginning at noon on Friday. After the doors open at 6 p.m., anyone looking to purchase tickets will have to go through security checkpoints prior to reaching the box office.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what you need to know leading up to the game:<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t put the bad in Badger<\/strong><\/p>\n

Brock University prides itself on being a good community neighbour. Steel Blade is an exciting event, but everyone attending the game is reminded to celebrate responsibly and make smart decisions. Any students arriving to the bus pickup locations or the Meridian Centre itself who are visibly intoxicated will be refused entry and no refunds for purchased tickets will be given. Drink responsibly, and stay hydrated and well-fed.<\/p>\n

Getting to the game<\/strong><\/p>\n

No parking is available at the Meridian Centre, so anyone driving should park at one of the downtown parking garages. Students going to and from the game are encouraged to take advantage of the free shuttle busses running between the main Brock campus and the arena. These will run on a continuous loop from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. and will take students back to Brock from 9 to 11:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

Pickup locations on campus are at Quarry View, Vallee and Lowenberger residences, as well as in front of the Student Centre near Isaac\u2019s.<\/p>\n

What you can bring<\/strong><\/p>\n

Outside food and drinks are not permitted in the Meridian Centre, but empty refillable water bottles are allowed. Bags smaller than 12\u201dx12\u201dx12\u201d will be allowed, while laser pointers, professional cameras, drones, weapons of any kind and any drugs or alcohol are forbidden.<\/p>\n
