Jagan Krishnan, Professor and Merves Senior Research Fellow at the Fox School of Business, Temple University.<\/p><\/div>\n
Jagan\u2019s presentation on his paper, \u201cAccounting Firms\u2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Activities: Determinants and Consequences,\u201d examines the increased involvement of accounting firms in social activities, including why they partake in these activities and the benefits it offers for them.<\/p>\n
With more than 30 years of teaching and professional experience in auditing and consulting, much of his research focuses on audit quality, corporate governance, auditor litigation, regulation and fraudulent financial reporting.<\/p>\n

Jayanthi will present her paper, \u201cManagement Going Concern Reporting by Firms without Auditors\u2019 Going Concern Reports: Evidence from ASU 2014-2015.\u201d The study looks closely at mandatory and voluntary disclosures regarding the continuing existence of a firm and how new reporting guidelines can provide managers with more accurate internal information.<\/p>\n
Jayanthi\u2019s research areas include audit quality, auditor turnover, internal control, corporate governance and audit regulations. She is also the recipient of the 2015 American Accounting Association\u2019s Notable Contribution to the Auditing Literature Award.<\/p>\n
