{"id":77983,"date":"2022-05-03T12:20:42","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T16:20:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=77983"},"modified":"2022-05-03T14:50:31","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T18:50:31","slug":"members-sought-for-aboriginal-research-advisory-circle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2022\/05\/members-sought-for-aboriginal-research-advisory-circle\/","title":{"rendered":"Members sought for Aboriginal Research Advisory Circle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Brock University Research Ethics Board (REB) is seeking volunteer members for its Aboriginal Research Advisory Circle (ARAC).<\/p>\n<p>The ARAC acts as an advisor to the REB by conducting culturally informed reviews of research projects that relate to First Nations, M\u00e9tis and Inuit Peoples, with consideration for Indigenous cultural protocols, histories and traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants, who can be from the Brock or wider Niagara community, should identify as Indigenous and have lived cultural experience.
