For seven years, Kendra Thomson served in various capacities on the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis board where, with her colleagues, she helped lead efforts in professional regulation of behaviour analysts in Ontario.<\/p>\n
At the next Women in Leadership session, the Associate Professor in Brock\u2019s Department of Applied Disability Studies will share her personal experience through the lens of her various roles and \u201chighlight what I learned balancing service, research and faculty responsibilities,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
In addition to her faculty position at Brock University, Thomson is a doctoral-level Board Certified\u00a0Behaviour Analyst and a clinician-scientist with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.<\/p>\n
While Thomson acknowledges \u201cthe dedicated efforts made by numerous volunteers,\u201d her personal contributions to the field of applied behaviour analysis in Ontario were recently internationally recognized<\/a> by the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts.<\/p>\n Thomson\u2019s talk is scheduled for Thursday, May 5, from noon to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
