{"id":76970,"date":"2022-03-09T14:30:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T19:30:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=76970"},"modified":"2022-03-09T15:18:26","modified_gmt":"2022-03-09T20:18:26","slug":"brock-to-continue-with-health-measures-until-at-least-the-end-of-the-winter-term","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2022\/03\/brock-to-continue-with-health-measures-until-at-least-the-end-of-the-winter-term\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock to continue with health measures until at least the end of the Winter Term"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2022\/02\/public-health-protocols-to-remain-in-effect-at-brock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">previously announced<\/a>, Brock University will continue with the following health and safety measures until at least the end of the Winter Term:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A mandatory\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2022\/01\/brock-updates-mask-requirements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">masking requirement<\/a> (medical grade masks are\u00a0<em>highly<\/em>\u00a0<em>recommended<\/em>\u00a0for students and\u00a0<em>required<\/em>\u00a0for faculty and staff).<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/coronavirus\/covid-19-vaccination\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">COVID-19 vaccine mandate<\/a> for anyone coming to campus.<\/li>\n<li>A COVID-19 booster vaccine requirement for those living in on-campus residences.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/brock.ca1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_7TJNhzbzi0bxpNI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mandatory self-screening\u00a0<\/a>for anyone coming to a Brock campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those who have not yet received the third booster dose are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>As always, members of the Brock community are asked to be vigilant and to self-monitor closely for COVID-19 symptoms.\u00a0<strong>If you are experiencing symptoms, please do not come to campus<\/strong>. The Brock community has been unified in its approach as everyone works together to ensure a healthy and safe campus.
