When marketers turn to artificial intelligence (AI) for insights, it\u2019s important that they fully understand the implication on privacy that using this tool has.<\/p>\n
This week\u2019s Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series event will explore the development of AI in marketing and how government privacy regulations impact its value.<\/p>\n
Rajkumar Venkatesan, Ronald Trzcinski Professor of Business Administration at University of Virginia\u2019s Darden School of Business, will share his recent research and a five-step framework for marketers to personalize their customer engagement through AI. His work suggests how, contrary to popular belief, privacy regulations can increase the value of AI by deepening trust between firms and consumers.<\/p>\n
On Friday, March 4, Venkatesan will present his findings during his virtual talk, \u201cAI in Marketing and Privacy Implications.\u201d<\/p>\n
Venkatesan teaches quantitative marketing to Master of Business Administration and executive education students globally. At the Darden School of Business, he teaches a marketing analytics and a marketing technology products course.
