Ten universities in Canada have received the scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an exciting achievement for Brock&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/business\" target=\"_blank\">business school<\/a>, which also had <a href=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=7446\">strong showings this month<\/a> at the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition and the MBA Games.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are absolutely delighted to bestow this very deserving student with such an accolade,&#8221; said Deborah Zinni, Associate Dean of Business. &#8220;This scholarship is a wonderful acknowledgment of Alyssa\u2019s strong academic abilities and community endeavours, and speaks volumes of the quality of our Faculty\u2019s Accounting program. We are very excited, not only for Alyssa but for the Faculty and the university, to be part of this prestigious event.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Stuppiello, 21, is a St. Catharines native who attended St. Francis Catholic Secondary School. She will attend a gala dinner on Feb. 17 in Toronto with other representatives from the Faculty of Business.
