Whether Brock graduates plan to head straight into the workforce or pursue further education, a series of upcoming workshops will provide valuable guidance to help them along the way.<\/p>\n
The 2022 Grad Send-off Virtual Series kicked off earlier this month and will run until June with a variety of virtual sessions aimed at preparing soon-to-be graduates for success after Convocation.<\/p>\n
Hosted by the Brock University Alumni Association and Co-op, Career and Experiential Education (CCEE) teams, the series will include workshops on topics such as career preparation, pursuing graduate school, mental health supports available to alumni and managing finances after graduation.<\/p>\n
The series has evolved from the single-day Grad Send-off event previously held annually on campus. With large in-person events still unable to take place due to ongoing public health restrictions, online sessions were developed to provide senior students access to useful information from the comfort of home.<\/p>\n
Each virtual session is free and runs for one to two hours.<\/p>\n
