Several Workday Finance\u00a0training\u00a0webinars\u00a0focusing on expense reports, purchasing and financial analysis\u00a0are available\u00a0to Brock employees.<\/p>\n
Sessions are typically taken by people who\u00a0use Workday Finance occasionally\u00a0and are interested in a refresher,\u00a0or people who are\u00a0new to the University\u00a0or\u00a0new to a role that requires them to do\u00a0financial\u00a0functions.<\/p>\n
Workday\u00a0expense\u00a0report\u00a0training\u00a0<\/a>will teach\u00a0employees\u00a0how to\u00a0process\u00a0Brock Visa Purchasing Card transactions,\u00a0create expense reports\u00a0for reimbursement of\u00a0out-of-pocket expenses\u00a0and\u00a0use the Workday mobile app for expenses.\u00a0An online session is planned for Monday, Jan. 24 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.<\/p>\n Workday\u00a0procurement\u00a0training<\/a> will teach employees who purchase goods and services how to create purchase requisitions\/purchase orders and will explain the process for making payments to suppliers, including how to request payment of invoices through the creation of supplier invoice requests. An online session is planned for Thursday, Jan. 27 from 2:30 to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n Workday\u00a0report\u00a0training<\/a> will teach employees how to review and analyze the financial activity in operating cost\u00a0centres\u00a0and\u00a0compare current\u00a0year spending to budget,\u00a0forecasts\u00a0and prior\u00a0year activity.\u00a0An online session is planned for Friday, Jan. 28 from 10:30 a.m. to noon.<\/p>\n Interested employees can register via Focus on Learning<\/a>.
