After appointments for this week\u2019s on-campus vaccination clinics<\/a> filled quickly, Brock University is adding new dates to help students get vaccinated next week.<\/p>\n

Brock\u2019s Student Health Services will host booster shot clinics for students 29 years old and under at Harrison Hall (located across from the Walker Sports Complex) on Thursday, Jan. 13 and Friday, Jan. 14.<\/p>\n

Appointments are required and must be booked online through the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre booking link<\/a>. Appointments for the Brock clinics can no longer be booked by phone.<\/p>\n

The University previously announced that the\u00a0Winter Term will start with online course delivery<\/a>\u00a0to allow time for the Brock community to receive their COVID-19 vaccine booster dose, which will help ensure a safe return to campus.<\/p>\n

More Brock University clinics will be announced in the near future through the Brock Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre social media channels at @BrockSWAC<\/p>\n

The University is also hosting two GO-VAXX mobile vaccination clinics<\/a>. Although the first of the two, which takes place Friday, Jan. 7, booked up in a mere 23 minutes, appointments for the second mobile clinic on Monday, Jan. 10 will open on Sunday, Jan. 9 at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n

Appointments can be booked through\u00a0Ontario\u2019s booking portal<\/a>\u00a0or by phoning the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at\u00a0833-943-3900.\u00a0Students, faculty, staff and anyone from the wider community are welcome.<\/p>\n

Appointments for the mobile clinic are required and will be limited in number. They typically fill up in less than one hour.<\/p>\n

Other local vaccine bookings are available through the\u00a0Government of Ontario website<\/a>\u00a0as well as through local pharmacies. Niagara Region Public Health has also\u00a0launched a daily standby list<\/a> for those looking to get a vaccine at its clinic at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre. The list will be refreshed daily, so anyone interested must register each day they\u2019re available to get to the clinic within 30 minutes of being contacted.<\/p>\n

All Ontario adults are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster. Proof of receiving the booster can now be uploaded to the\u00a0my.brocku.ca<\/a>\u00a0portal.
