MacNeil also spoke about equitable vaccine distribution in an article from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stcatharinesstandard.ca\/news\/niagara-region\/2021\/12\/02\/hirji-not-enthusiastic-about-covid-19-booster-shots.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The St. Catharines Standard<\/a> that discussed who should be considering getting a booster shot and another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stcatharinesstandard.ca\/news\/niagara-region\/2021\/12\/01\/a-river-runs-through-it-covid-cases-raging-across-the-us-border-called-health-threat-for-niagara.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">St. Catharines Standard article<\/a> that explored rising COVID-19 numbers across the American border.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giving vaccinated workers a raise:<\/strong> Brock University Professor of Ethics Paul Dunn spoke to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iheartradio.ca\/610cktb\/audio\/paul-dunn-professor-of-business-ethics-with-brock-s-goodman-school-of-business-dec-02-2021-1.16614130?mode=Article\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Newstalk 610 CKTB<\/a> about the decision of Chapman&#8217;s ice cream to give its vaccinated workers a raise. Dunn will be making a regular appearance on the radio station to discuss issues related to the world of business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New York City\u2019s unsung monuments to working moms:<\/strong> Associate Professor of Labour Studies Simon Black\u2019s research and quotes were included in an article from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smithsonianmag.com\/history\/new-york-citys-unsung-monuments-to-working-moms-180979145\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smithsonian Magazine<\/a> about a 1970s effort to grow a publicly funded childcare system in New York City.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Untrue claims, ugly health risks and the shrinking black-market pot trade: <\/strong>Associate Professor of Operations Research Michael Armstrong spoke to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lfpress.com\/news\/local-news\/untrue-claims-ugly-health-risks-and-the-shrinking-black-market-pot-trade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">London Free Press<\/a> about the purchasing of black market cannabis by consumers after warnings about product irregularities were made by the Ontario Provincial Police.
