Brock University\u2019s Goodman School of Business has received accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) for one of its flagship offerings \u2014 the Bachelor of Business Administration International Double Degree<\/a> co-op program.<\/p>\n

The program \u2014 which grants students two degrees, one from Brock and one from a European partner university, while giving students work experience on both continents \u2014 was granted EFMD Programme Accreditation last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am immensely proud of our school for receiving this accreditation,\u201d said Goodman Dean Andrew Gaudes. \u201cThis program is like no other in Canada and receiving accreditation is a reflection of the dedication our staff and faculty have placed in building a program that provides students with a unique global experience of the highest quality.\u201d<\/p>\n

Only five Canadian business schools, including Goodman, have received EFMD Programme Accreditation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barbara Sporn, Director of EFMD Programme Accreditation, said the organization was happy to welcome Goodman\u2019s double degree program to the pool of EFMD accredited programs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were very impressed by the school’s internationalization approach, from its faculty\u2019s international background and experience to its robust international partnership network,\u201d Sporn said. \u201cThis achievement illustrates the school\u2019s commitment to the continuous quality improvement of their program, and we are looking forward to accompanying them on this journey.\u201d<\/p>\n

The three-year accreditation recognizes the quality of education at both Brock and the European partner schools and comes after a thorough analysis of the program by EFMD\u2019s Peer Review Team, which included a virtual visit to the Goodman School in May.<\/p>\n

The newly accredited program at Goodman includes partnerships with Lancaster University Management School in the U.K., NEOMA Business School in France, Dublin City University in Ireland and the European Business School as well as ESB Reutlingen University in Germany. The double degree program involves four to four and a half years of study and work experience with Goodman student tuition fees being paid to Brock.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
