Researchers have found that culture and individual-level resources are increasingly important in helping entrepreneurs determine what social goals their business will have.<\/p>\n
How individual-level resources \u2014 measured as financial, human and social capital \u2014 and culture influence the resources entrepreneurs allocate to social value creation is the focus of this week\u2019s Goodman School of Business Luncheon Speaker Series<\/a> event.<\/p>\n On Friday, Sept. 10, Dirk De Clercq, a leading organizational and entrepreneurial studies scholar and Professor of Management at the Goodman School of Business, will present co-authored research that delves deeper into this topic during his talk titled \u201cEntrepreneur resources, cultural context, and social value creation.\u201d<\/p>\n De Clercq teaches Entrepreneurship and Research Methods. His expansive research includes publishing more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, and his contributions in the entrepreneurship field are extensive.
