{"id":73845,"date":"2021-08-31T08:18:50","date_gmt":"2021-08-31T12:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=73845"},"modified":"2021-09-15T08:28:22","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T12:28:22","slug":"go-transit-bus-service-coming-to-brock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2021\/08\/go-transit-bus-service-coming-to-brock\/","title":{"rendered":"GO Transit bus service coming to Brock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A green and white GO bus will be rolling into Brock University\u2019s St. Catharines campus beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Metrolinx announced <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.metrolinx.com\/2021\/08\/26\/metrolinx-announces-increased-weekday-service-across-the-go-transit-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">increased weekday services<\/a> across the GO Transit network to meet passenger demand as many people return to school and the workplace this fall.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited at the addition of GO Bus service to Brock\u2019s campus,\u201d said Brock Interim President Lynn Wells. \u201cThis service will have a tremendous impact for our students, providing them with a new means to travel to campus that will improve accessibility, offer greater choice and flexibility, and alleviate traffic on our roads. We want to thank the Government of Ontario and Metrolinx for bringing this service to Brock.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Included in the new services are GO buses serving Brock University.
