As part of its ongoing commitment to the health and safety of the University community, Brock has added new dates for its student COVID-19 vaccination clinics planned for September.<\/p>\n
The new clinic dates are an extension of the vaccination clinics that have been hosted by Brock\u2019s Student Health Services on campus since June<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last week, the Province of Ontario directed the establishment of vaccine mandates for all universities and colleges, as well as for the health-care and public service sectors, and other areas. The Government of Canada is introducing vaccine mandates for broad sections of the economy and country including for the public service, air travel passengers and others.<\/p>\n Brock University announced earlier this month<\/a> that it will require COVID-19 vaccination for all students, faculty, staff and visitors who wish to access campus this fall. More information is available on the University\u2019s FAQ page<\/a>, which will be updated as additional details become available.<\/p>\n \u201cOn top of providing on-site Moderna vaccines for students, Student Health Services is now able to offer Pfizer vaccines to Brock students under 18,\u201d said Mehroon Kassam, Brock\u2019s Manager of Student Health Services and Personal Counselling. \u201cThis is in alignment with Brock\u2019s efforts to keep students safe this fall.\u201d<\/p>\n Clinics offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7. Appointments will be available from 9 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. and can be booked by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available to students under the age of 18, with clinics running on Wednesdays, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 8.
