They stood on chairs and danced down a flight of stairs leading to the dining area. They emerged from tables, entrances and the cashier line at the Guernsey Market.<\/p>\n<p>The flash mob was to promote the upcoming performance Glee Club Live in Concert at the David S. Howes Theatre on Jan. 28 and 29.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7370\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7370\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7370\" title=\"Adrian Petry and Heidi Brabin\" src=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/flashmob2-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"Adrian Petry and Heidi Brabin\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7370\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Adrian Petry and Heidi Brabin<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThis is a dream for music theatre kids \u2013 breaking out into song and dance in an everyday situation,\u201d said Heidi Brabin, History student and flash mob participant, before the event. \u201cWe\u2019re so excited to see it happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The flash mob idea came from Adrian Petry, History and Political Science student and president of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brockmusicaltheatre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brock Musical Theatre<\/a>. He joined Chorus Niagara around the time a now-famous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SXh7JR9oKVE\" target=\"_blank\">flash mob video<\/a> of the chorus was released on YouTube. The video depicted the choir singing the Hallelujah chorus in the food court of Welland\u2019s Seaway Mall.<\/p>\n<p>The club chose the Journey song because it\u2019s \u201cpractically the theme song\u201d of the popular TV show <em>Glee<\/em>, which inspired the club\u2019s formation.
