Brock University is aware of the announcement by the provincial government Tuesday, Aug. 12, which paused further reopening and implemented COVID-19 vaccination policies for those in high-risk settings.<\/p>\n

Brock continues to have discussions with the province about the announcement\u2019s impact on plans for the Fall Term. At this time, there are no changes to Brock\u2019s plans. Information and updates will be available as soon as possible on\u00a0The Brock News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last week, Brock announced that it will require COVID-19 vaccination<\/a> for all students, faculty, staff and visitors who wish to access campus this fall. Tuesday, the provincial government directed that all universities and colleges in Ontario undertake vaccine mandates.<\/p>\n

Brock is currently engaging with a number of key stakeholders on the development of an implementation plan.<\/p>\n

The health and well-being of the Brock community has been and continues to be the University\u2019s top priority. Vaccination against COVID-19 is by far the best way to protect against the spread of COVID-19 and the development of serious illness for those who are infected. This policy, along with the many other health and well-being protocols Brock has implemented, are critical to ensuring the return to campus this fall is as safe as it can be.<\/p>\n
