Nominations are now open for faculty, staff and student representatives for the Advisory Committee on the Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning.<\/p>\n

The Provost and Vice-President, Academic is striking an advisory committee under Faculty Handbook Section 4:1<\/a> concerning the appointment of a Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning. This role would replace the existing role of Associate Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning and include an expanded range of responsibilities.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to make a recommendation on the appointment of the Vice-Provost in accordance with Faculty Handbook Section 4:1<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As soon as the Advisory Committee has been established, a search will be conducted and the committee will be responsible for making a recommendation on the appointment.<\/p>\n

It is anticipated that the work of the Advisory Committee will begin in September and should be completed within four to five months.<\/p>\n

The Advisory Committee is normally chaired by the Provost and Vice-President, Academic, and its composition requirements are:<\/p>\n
