The impact mentoring can have on women in the community will be at the centre of the next Women in Leadership (WIL) meeting on Friday, May 7.<\/p>\n

Held virtually from 1 to 2 p.m., the event will include a panel discussion entitled \u201cOpportunities and Experiences of the Niagara Workforce Planning Board\u2019s Immigrant Mentorship Program.\u201d<\/p>\n

In September 2020, Brock University signed a Memorandum of Understanding<\/a> with the Niagara Workforce Planning Board (NWPB), formalizing the long-standing partnership between the two organizations.<\/p>\n

As part of this collaborative relationship, Brock is a partner in the NWPB\u2019s Immigrant Mentorship Program<\/a>, which pairs established local professionals with internationally trained professionals who are new to Canada and looking to build their careers and expand their knowledge.<\/p>\n

Friday\u2019s presentation and discussion panel will explore experiences and outcomes of mentorship programs, including the program offered by the NWPB.<\/p>\n
