Of the Brock University residence students who were diagnosed with COVID-19, 26 have since recovered and nine cases remain active as of Sunday, April 4.<\/p>\n
Brock continues to work closely with Niagara Region Public Health after a COVID-19 outbreak was declared in student residences on Friday, March 26. The University is currently operating in Brock Stage 1 (Grey\/Lockdown),<\/a> with all classes being held online and common areas on campus closed until further notice.<\/p>\n Including those students who have tested positive for COVID-19, there are a total of 51 students currently isolating in self-contained units in relation to the declared outbreak.<\/p>\n The change in numbers represents a number of cases which have been cleared through recovery and additional testing and others who are recovering off-campus.<\/p>\n The University reminds all members of the Brock community, students, faculty and staff, to respect and adhere to public health guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n
