Brock is also preparing to unveil the new Residence 8 building, a semi-suite style residence, and a $30 million revitalization project of DeCew Residence, a traditional-style dormitory building that has been extensively renovated throughout.

Living on campus allows students to reap the benefits of features such as an all-access dining program, the new 15,500-square-foot Zone Fitness Centre, strong and reliable internet access, and on-campus student support services.

Brock is highly rated for its residences and student experience, and is known for providing transitional programming and supports for its students.

“Residence Life on campus provides an environment for students to meet lifelong friends and a way to get involved in campus life in an unparalleled way,” said Brittany Gallant, Acting Manager, Residence Life. “We go out of our way to foster independence, resilience and emotional intelligence with opportunities and connections through our fun, on-going programming.”

The application deadline for the second-year student guarantee is Monday, April 5 and is valid only for those who have provided a residence application and residence application fees by the deadline.

Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis and applies to students who enrolled at Brock during the 2020-21 academic year.

More than 70 per cent of Brock’s on-campus residence inventory are single rooms, which sets the foundation for a safe opening in the Fall while following provincial COVID-19 pandemic guidelines.

“We are working to have all residence buildings open safely this fall,” said Fleming. “We are mindful that there may still need to be some measures in place to manage COVID-19. Even if that is necessary, we are confident the residence experience will be as engaging and vibrant as ever.”

For questions, email res@brocku.ca or phone 905-688-5550 x3370.
