Nominations for honorary degrees may be submitted by any member of the university community or the public on an ongoing basis throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Nomination forms and guidelines are available at brocku.ca\/secretariat\/senate<\/a> or by contacting the Office of the University Secretariat at 905-688-5550 x3334 or x4307.<\/p>\n

The Senate Governance Committee reviews, in confidence, all nominations received and forwards its recommendations to Senate for consideration. Due to confidentiality, Senate does not report on its deliberations.<\/p>\n

In order to ensure that nominations are considered for the June 2011 Convocation, nomination forms should be submitted to the Office of the University Secretariat, ST1107, by Jan. 26, 2011.<\/p>\n

Honorary degrees are normally awarded at both Spring and Fall Convocations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
