This week\u2019s Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series event will focus on inventory optimization methods.<\/p>\n
Yossiri Adulyasak, Associate Professor in the Department of Logistics and Operations Management at HEC Montreal, will present the findings of his co-authored paper \u201cMaterial Requirements Planning Under Demand Uncertainty Using Stochastic Optimization<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n The presentation, titled \u201cRe-thinking safety stock optimization: an integrated prescriptive analytics approach,\u201d will discuss the use of the stochastic optimization approach, which utilizes random variables to assist with better inventory logistics.<\/p>\n Adulyasak is the Canada Research Chair in Supply Chain Analytics.
