{"id":68024,"date":"2020-09-15T09:25:25","date_gmt":"2020-09-15T13:25:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=68024"},"modified":"2020-09-15T09:25:25","modified_gmt":"2020-09-15T13:25:25","slug":"brock-central-offering-virtual-support-for-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2020\/09\/brock-central-offering-virtual-support-for-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Brock Central offering virtual support for students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">With the Fall Term in full swing, Brock Central @ the Registrar\u2019s Office is here to help and service students virtually. <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Throughout the month of September, Brock Central is open Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cBrock is committed to providing student service as effectively as possible in these unusual times,\u201d said Jodi Fitzgerald, Associate Registrar, Enrolment Operations. \u201cOur team has been working hard behind-the-scenes all summer with our colleagues in Information Technology Services to set up a remote call centre to ensure continuity of service to students. Our expanded hours for September will help to meet the higher volumes of inquiries we typically receive during the start of the Fall Term.\u201d <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Since the implementation of Brock\u2019s operational changes in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brock Central\u2019s team has been working remotely. As these changes currently remain in effect, Brock Central\u2019s on-campus service and appointments are not currently offered at this time. <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">However, the team is prepared to help students virtually in two ways. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BodyA\"><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Students can call Brock Central at 905-688-5550 x3052 or email at <\/span><\/span><span class=\"Hyperlink0\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"mailto:central@brocku.ca\"><span style=\"color: black;\">central@brocku.ca<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><span class=\"NoneA\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">.
