Brock University is confirming that a fall 2020 academic term will take place and work is underway in preparation for delivery of its September courses.<\/p>\n
The University will take its guidance from health officials and the Province of Ontario about how courses will be delivered in the fall.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur students and their families are facing great uncertainties and have many questions at this moment,\u201d said Brock President Gervan Fearon. \u201cWe hope to alleviate some of those worries by committing to a fall term now and by assuring students they\u2019ll continue to receive the highest quality experience Brock students have come to expect.\u201d<\/p>\n
The University is building variable plans to ensure the Fall Term will be able to begin as scheduled. It will follow guidelines and advice from public health in making final determinations as to whether the term will be offered online, in-person or in a hybrid model.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s too early to say how the term will unfold,\u201d Fearon said. “But we want our students and those considering Brock in the fall to know that their courses will be held and their studies will continue.\u201d<\/p>\n
The University is offering its 2020 Spring\/Summer Term courses online. For spring, more than 700 courses are offered in a virtual environment and registrations have been strong.
