{"id":6346,"date":"2010-11-15T15:34:19","date_gmt":"2010-11-15T20:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=6346"},"modified":"2010-11-15T15:34:19","modified_gmt":"2010-11-15T20:34:19","slug":"market-hall-mural-officially-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2010\/11\/market-hall-mural-officially-unveiled\/","title":{"rendered":"Market Hall mural officially unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_6347\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6347\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6347 \" title=\"Jack Lightstone and Bogdan Luca\" src=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/muralunveiling.jpg\" alt=\"Jack Lightstone and Bogdan Luca\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-6347\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">President Jack Lightstone chats with artist Bogdan Luca at the unveiling of a mural in Market Hall.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>About 50 Brock faculty, staff and fine arts students were on hand Nov. 12 for the formal unveiling of a mural in Market Hall depicting important moments in Brock and Niagara&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6348\" title=\"muralpicture\" src=\"http:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/muralpicture-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"muralpicture\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/>Canadian artist Bogdan Luca was commissioned to create a piece of relevant public art for the university\u2019s spacious new dining and gathering place.
