Zone 2 parking permit holders coming onto the Brock University campus this week should watch for live updates on parking capacity.<\/p>\n
Although there have been some parking disruptions as a result of construction on Canada Games Park, nearly 700 spaces are now available in Zone 2 at the south end of the main Brock campus.<\/p>\n
Updates on how many spaces are available will be provided on the\u00a0Brock University Twitter account<\/a>\u00a0as well as on the University homepage at\u00a0Brocku.ca<\/a><\/p>\n While there was parking available in Zone 2 every day during the first week of Winter Term, traffic volumes are expected to rise starting Monday, Jan. 13, as a full schedule of lectures, labs and seminars gets underway.<\/p>\n If Zone 2 fills up, parking will also available in the temporary overflow lot which has been set up at Merrittville Speedway, located at 2371 Merrittville Highway, about five kilometres south of campus.<\/p>\n Zone 2 parking permit holders may park in the overflow lot and will then be driven to campus on free shuttle buses. Those without a permit can buy a daily $6 pass for the Merrittville lot through the HONK mobile app using Zone ID 2458. Parking attendants will monitor the temporary lot and security will be patrolling the area.<\/p>\n
