This week, Goodman\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/goodman\/faculty-research\/luncheon-speaker-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Luncheon Speaker Series<\/a>\u00a0looks to demystify the process of getting work accepted to these publications.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, Sept. 20, Naveen Donthu, Editor-in-Chief of the <em>Journal of Business Research\u00a0<\/em>will present on his experiences with a talk titled \u201cGetting your research article published in high-quality and high-impact journals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Donthu has been writing for the <em>Journal of Business Research <\/em>for more than three years, while also lecturing at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University. He has more than 90 publications in journals such as\u00a0<em>Marketing Science, Management Science, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Advertising Research <\/em>and <em>Journal of Retailing. <\/em>Donthu\u2019s extensive experience with writing and publishing for top journals has allowed him to pinpoint challenges in the industry and develop lessons based on his own involvement.<\/p>\n<p>The Goodman speaker series provides an informal opportunity to listen to and discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with international business colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>Donthu\u2019s presentation will run from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Goodman School of Business room 310.
