Brock University\u2019s administrative offices will be closed for the Labour Day long weekend from Saturday, Aug. 31 to Monday, Sept. 2.<\/p>\n

However, some\u00a0key areas at the University\u2019s main campus will remain open as per regular weekend operating hours.<\/p>\n

Sunday, Sept. 1 is also Brock\u2019s annual\u00a0Move-In Day<\/a>, which will see 2,400 students moved into the University’s residences. As a result, departments and services such as Residences, Dining, Parking, IT Help Desk, Brock Card, Campus Store and the Walker Sports Complex will all be open throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The following campus services are open and closed on the Labour Day long weekend:<\/p>\n

Campus Security
\n<\/strong>Officers are available 24-7 by phoning x3200, via emergency phones on campus, by emailing\u00a0security@brocku.ca<\/a>\u00a0or through the Brock Mobile App.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

James A. Gibson Library
\n<\/strong>Closed: Saturday, Aug 31 to Monday, Sept. 2.<\/p>\n

Walker Sports Complex
\n<\/strong>Open: Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
\nClosed: Monday, Sept. 2.<\/p>\n

Due to an\u00a0ongoing expansion project<\/a>, the Zone will remain closed until Tuesday, Sept. 3.<\/p>\n

Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre
\n<\/strong>To keep the pool working well throughout the year, it has been drained and is undergoing annual maintenance. It is set to reopen on Monday, Sept. 9.<\/p>\n

Food establishments
\n<\/strong>All food services locations will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 31.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Sept. 1, Lowenberger and DeCew dining halls will be open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m., Guernsey Market will be open from 9 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., the Tower Tim Hortons will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Hungry Badger will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Sept. 2, Lowenberger and DeCew dining halls will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. and Hungry Badger will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Campus Store
\n<\/strong>Closed: Saturday, Aug. 31.
\nOpen: Sunday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 2 from noon to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Parking Services
\n<\/strong>On Sunday, Sept. 1, the Parking Services office in the Campus Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 2, the Parking Services office in the Campus Store will be open from noon to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

Beginning Sunday, Sept. 1, Zones 1 and 2\u00a0will be free on weekdays after 6 p.m.\u00a0and all day on weekends. Parking is prohibited between 2 and 5 a.m. on any day. Parking permits will be required in Zones 1 and 2 during business hours.<\/p>\n

Hourly parking is available in a number of locations throughout campus. Cars with valid permits can continue to park in their designated lot.<\/p>\n

Rodman Hall Art Centre
\n<\/strong>Open: Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1 from noon to 5 p.m.
\nClosed: Monday, Sept. 2.<\/p>\n

Student Health Services
\n<\/strong>Student Health Services will be closed Saturday, Aug. 31 to Tuesday, Sept. 3.
