{"id":58085,"date":"2019-05-21T13:31:40","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T17:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=58085"},"modified":"2019-05-21T13:32:34","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T17:32:34","slug":"literary-classics-play-role-in-new-rodman-hall-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2019\/05\/literary-classics-play-role-in-new-rodman-hall-exhibition\/","title":{"rendered":"Literary classics play role in new Rodman Hall exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">St. Catharines-based artist Carolyn Wren explores themes of lost knowledge and metanarratives in a new exhibition opening at Rodman Hall Art Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Curated by Rodman Hall\u2019s Marcie Bronson, A Task at Hand premieres recent drawings and immersive, experiential installations alongside some of Wren\u2019s early works.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wren, who has been exhibiting her work since 1990 in shows across Canada, uses traditional techniques of hand carving, printing, writing and embroidery in non-traditional ways.
